Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of R&D tax claims for clients across diverse industries.
  • Review and analyse technical and financial information to prepare R&D tax submissions.
  • Advise clients on eligibility criteria and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored tax solutions.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for R&D tax relief services.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members within the tax department.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of R&D tax legislation and industry trends.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accountancy or tax, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
  • Experience in handling R&D tax claims within the professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of tax legislation and its practical application.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Proficiency in building client relationships and delivering high-quality advisory services.
