Job Description
- Oversee construction project costs and contracts
- Manage financial risks associated with property development
- Liaise with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders
- Conduct cost analysis and draw up detailed budgets
- Ensure that construction work adheres to all legal and quality standards
- Report on the financial progress of projects and any potential disputes
- Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Proficiency in cost analysis and budgeting
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Strong negotiation skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial matters
