Job Description

  • Oversee construction project costs and contracts
  • Manage financial risks associated with property development
  • Liaise with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders
  • Conduct cost analysis and draw up detailed budgets
  • Ensure that construction work adheres to all legal and quality standards
  • Report on the financial progress of projects and any potential disputes
  • Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Proficiency in cost analysis and budgeting
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial matters
