Job Description

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality systems within the Technical department.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures and controls to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Train staff in quality procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review and report on quality metrics and performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Supervisor/Team Lead with food manufacturing experience, as well as:

  • A recognised qualification in this specialism
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to train and motivate team members.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software.
