Job Description

  • Developing and implementing QHSE policies and procedures across the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
  • Providing QHSE training and awareness programs to staff to foster a safety-conscious culture.
  • Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve overall QHSE performance.
  • Developing and maintaining systems for tracking and reporting on QHSE metrics.
  • Staying abreast of industry developments and changes in regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful QHSE Manager should have:

  • A strong academic background in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards gained in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • The ability to conduct audits, produce detailed reports, and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards QHSE management.
