Job Description

This role focuses on maintaining the financial stability and sustainability of the business by overseeing Financial and Strategic risk categories. You will contribute to ensuring capital adequacy, liquidity, market risk, and compliance with key regulatory deliverables.

Duties:

  • Oversee financial resilience, capital, funding, liquidity, and market risk.
  • Provide assurance on ICAAP, ILAAP, and Basel 3.1 compliance.
  • Assess and challenge Prudential and ESG risk frameworks.
  • Ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Build relationships with Treasury, Risk, and Finance teams.
  • Support senior managements decision-making.



The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in banking, with a background in Treasury Risk or Finance.
  • Familiarity with prudential regulation and Treasury products, including Basel 3.1.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and leading discussions with senior colleagues.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on risk assessment and practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in technical tools such as SAS, SQL, VBA/Excel, or Power BI is an advantage.
