A Project Manager is needed to lead and manage large and complex engineering and manufacturing projects within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and deliver projects on time and on budget, whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Job Description

  • Manage and deliver large and complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control processes are strictly adhered to.
  • Contribute to the innovation and continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Effectively communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are upheld at all times.
  • Manage and lead a highly skilled team of engineers and technicians.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of future projects.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be driven, pragmatic and be able to work without supervision but be able to seek support and advice when necessary. * Previous 10+ years experience in a similar project management function

* Strong commercial awareness with customer facing experience

* Familiarity with manufacturing systems and processes

* Degree qualified Engineer (preferably Mechanical, Electrical) with strong core project management skills

* Organisational and time management skills

* Problem solving ability

* Ability to use Microsoft Project

* Good report writing and presentation skills

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
