Responsibilities include:Monitoring and analysing legal developments in UK and EU data protection law, as well as broader digital regulation (e.g. DMA, DSA, Data Act, AIA, NIS2)Maintaining and updating precedents and know-how resourcesOrganising training sessions and maintaining internal knowledge banksSupporting client-facing initiatives including seminars, publications, and bulletinsCollaborating with fee-earners, marketing, and BD teams on legal content and client updatesExploring and supporting tech-driven solutions to improve team efficiencyResponding to internal queries and providing legal insight on current law and practiceOnboarding and training new trainees and associates on know-how tools and resourcesCoordinating with PSLs across the firm globally to ensure alignment and best practice sharingThe Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have:Strong technical expertise in UK and EU data protection lawExperience or interest in adjacent areas of digital regulation (DMA, DSA, etc.)Excellent legal drafting and communication skillsA client-focused mindset and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidanceConfidence using Word, Excel, and PowerPointPrior PSL experience is helpful but not essential; familiarity with knowledge functions in large firms is beneficialWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary in the range of £110,000 to £150,000.Permanent position within a respected organisation in the professional services industry.Opportunities to work on high-impact legal matters in data protection.Supportive and collaborative company culture.Professional development opportunities and access to legal resources.If you are a dedicated Professional Support Lawyer with a passion for data protection, this role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career.
