A leading UK law firm is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Corporate PSL team, with a particular focus on supporting its busy private equity practice. This is a permanent, full-time role, though part-time applicants are also welcome.

Job Description

This PSL position offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced knowledge professionals, supporting one of the UK's most active corporate deal teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining precedents and guidance materials for corporate transactions
  • Supporting document automation projects and creating automated suites
  • Assisting fee earners with technical legal queries and research
  • Drafting legal updates and contributing to the corporate training programme
  • Promoting knowledge sharing and resource use across the team

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years' PQE in corporate law, ideally with private equity experience
  • A strong interest in document automation (training provided if needed)
  • Excellent technical, drafting, and research skills
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently
  • Prior PSL experience is helpful but not essential
