Job Description

The Professional Negligence Solicitor will deal with a range of work and responsibilities including;

  • Managing a varied caseload of professional negligence claims.
  • Acting for well known Insurer clients and defending a range of professionals including solicitors, accountants and brokers.
  • Dealing with pre litigation and litigated claims.
  • Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Working closely with Partners on complex claims.
  • Supporting junior team members.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives within the department.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Professional Negligence Solicitor should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in handling professional negligence cases.
  • Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
  • Likely to have between 4-10 years PQE.
  • Ties to Leeds.
  • Ability to manage a complex and varied caseload efficiently.
