Job Description

  • Manage procurement processes ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research to identify procurement opportunities and potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Review existing contracts and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
  • Provide procurement guidance and advice to colleagues across the organisation.
  • Monitor performance of suppliers and ensure contractual obligations are met.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a similar procurement role within the Public Sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a strategic approach to procurement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
