Job Description

  • Lead and manage all procurement activities for the organisation
  • Implement effective procurement strategies and policies
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Oversee the supply chain function, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Work closely with other departments to understand procurement needs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary
  • Participate in the development of the company's strategic plans

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Experience in a procurement role within the industry
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Excellent understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
  • Proven leadership abilities and strategic thinking
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Sage200, DynamixAX systems and Excel
  • 3rd party warehouse management
