Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal value.
  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast supply needs and address challenges.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier databases.
  • Prepare procurement reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the business services industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • An understanding and experience in public sector procurement regulations
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
