I am currently recruiting for an exciting FMCG business who are seeking a Procurement Executive/Buyer to join their Purchasing team. With lots of flexibility and the chance to be part of a dynamic team, this role would suit someone who is keen to continue to develop & grow their Purchasing career!

Job Description

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies in the FMCG industry.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks to the procurement process.
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries in line with company needs.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand in the retail sector

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Procurement Executive' should have:

  • Proven working experience in procurement.
  • Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
  • A knack for networking and building relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
