Job Description

  • Manage procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement buying strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand requirements and provide procurement support.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to optimise procurement decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement and supply chain processes and relevant documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement/Technical Manager should have:

  • A strong background in procurement and supply chain management
  • A technical understanding to effectively collaborate with sales and operational teams in the delivery of NPD
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills to support decision-making.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement
