Job Description

  • Manage and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and handle negotiations for goods and services.
  • Support the Procurement & Supply Chain department in strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Resolve procurement related issues or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify procurement needs and specifications.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and compare products and prices.
  • Participate in the evaluation of suppliers and products to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Procurement Administrator' should have:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in procurement, business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the Procurement & Supply Chain team.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and related tools.
