Job Description

  • Lead and manage plant operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental COMAH regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance and continuous improvement of plant equipment and processes.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align plant operations with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and control budgets, costs, and financial performance of the plant.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Director should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the chemical or related processing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
