Job Description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns, providing high-quality advice and recommendations.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on the most effective solutions.
  • Handle HMRC correspondence and enquiries on behalf of clients, ensuring smooth resolution.
  • Assist junior team members by reviewing their work and providing guidance as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in UK tax legislation to provide accurate advice.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:

  • A strong background in personal tax with relevant qualifications. CTA is preferred, but ATT with experience is great too.
  • A proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and meet deadlines.
  • Some advisory exposure and a client-first solutions led approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
