This organisation values diversity and inclusion, providing ample opportunities for career progression within a stable and respected industry leader.Job DescriptionThe Personal Injury Claims Handler will be:Managing a portfolio of defendant public liability claims from inception to resolutionAssessing liability and quantum, and formulating appropriate strategies for claim resolutionLiaising with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlementsEnsuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policiesMaintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the claims processProviding advice and guidance to internal departments on claims-related mattersIdentifying trends and potential risk exposures to inform risk management strategiesContributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims handling processThe Successful ApplicantThe Personal Injury Claims Handler should be:An experienced claims handler with a minimum of 2 years' experience in managing personal injury claims (not motor claims)Experience in property damage claims however full training will be providedProficient in assessing liability and quantum, with strong negotiation skillsFamiliar with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practicesAn excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skillsHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectivelyIT literate, with experience using claims management systems and Microsoft OfficeWhat's on OfferThis is more than just a job; it's a career opportunity with a leading utility company that values its employees.
