Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax and pension contributions.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
  • Support audits by providing payroll-related documentation and information.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related queries.
  • Implement payroll updates and adjustments in response to company or regulatory changes.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior payroll staff, if required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Supervisor should have:

  • Previous experience leading a small payroll team
  • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation, statutory requirements, PAYE and HMRC rules
  • Experience working with Zellis Resource Link and Kronos systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Full UK license
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
