Job Description

  • Process and verify employee payroll data with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records in compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory returns, such as PAYE and National Insurance.
  • Respond to payroll queries from staff and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team on monthly and annual reporting tasks.
  • Support audits by providing payroll-related documentation and information as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation and guidelines.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
