As the Part Time Assistant Accountant your responsibilities will include:Monitoring fuel usage, vehicle fleet data, and depot mileage to support smarter decisions and cost efficiencyValidating 3rd party logistics data and updating financial and performance systemsSupporting weekly cost reporting and helping prepare period accounts, budgets, and balance sheet reviewsWorking closely with finance and depot teams to challenge and improve financial performance metricsEnsuring data is accurately captured, stored, and updated in line with internal systems and requirementsThis is a varied role that would suit someone methodical, curious, and confident in handling data, with a strong interest in both logistics and finance.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Part Time Assistant Accountant will have:Advanced Excel skillsFamiliarity with SAP or similar financial/accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and a questioning mindsetExperience working to deadlines and managing multiple data inputsConfident communication with both internal teams and external providersBonus: exposure to databases/SQL and/or a background in logistics or accountingWhat's on OfferYou'll be part of a business where people genuinely care about performance and continuous improvement - and your input will help shape real commercial outcomes.
