Job Description

The Part Time Accountant will have a wide range of duties including:

  • Oversee the financial accounting for the UK entity
  • Processing invoices, making payments.
  • Chasing outstanding monies owed
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise financial performance and cost efficiency.
  • Provide expert financial advice to support decision-making at the board level.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Monitor cash flow and oversee investment activities to align with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the company's growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time Accountant should have:

  • Previous experience in an SME all round accounting role.
  • Ideally a professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong experience in financial management.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills to handle a part-time schedule.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
