We're looking for a Painter/ Decorator with decorating experience where you'll be responsible for carrying out different types of plastering, including render, communal internal and external decorations, as well as external washing down of properties
  • Painter and decorator required for local authority
  • Carry out painting and decorating of various commercial and domestic spaces

Job Description

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure smooth and even finishes
  • Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
  • Repair minor surface imperfections, including cracks, dents, and holes
  • Work on both domestic and commercial projects
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety and health regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects on time.
  • Advise clients on suitable paints, wallpapers, and finishes for specific projects



The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant experience in similar environment
  • Full UK driving Licence
  • NVQ in Painting and Decorating desirable
