Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations within the engineering and manufacturing department
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and policies
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Manage resources effectively to meet operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Prepare and manage budgets
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and manufacturers

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and performance management
  • A strong commitment to safety and environmental regulations
