They manufacture and distribute a wide range of products and have a great heritage.Job DescriptionAs the Operations Finance Manager, you will:Take full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the manufacturing and distribution departments.Lead the monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance metric reporting.Chair monthly review meetings with key stakeholders, providing strategic insight and recommendations.Build detailed finance packs to support business partners and drive decision-making.Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure alignment between financial and operational plans.Oversee financial appraisals of new capital investments, submitting for Board approval.Attend regular operational meetings, providing critical financial insights.Set internal transfer prices for all manufactured products.Evaluate purchase price variances for all input costs in manufacturing and distribution.Manage interim and full-year stock counts in collaboration with external auditors.Partner with 3rd-party logistics providers to ensure budget adherence and cost optimisation.Take responsibility for HMRC excise and deferred duty ledgers, reporting, and compliance.Audit internal teams regularly for stock accuracy and value.Support the buying process for raw and packaging materials with price and contract evaluations.Monitor utility consumption and provide regular insights into forecast demand.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate for this Operations Finance Manager will be a high calibre, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience in manufacturing, production, logistics, or supply chain finance. You will bring:Demonstrable experience with financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a commercial setting.A proactive and analytical mindset with a strong commercial understanding.Working knowledge of SAP or similar financial systems would be advantageous.Excellent communication skills to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.The ability to influence and lead strategic decisions through effective business partnering.Exposure to Consumer Finance, Retail Operations, or Manufacturing industries is desirable.What's on OfferA competitive salary range of c£75,000.The opportunity to grow your careerExcellent soft benefits and discountsIf this position appeals to you, we encourage you to apply.
