Job Description

Duties of the Office Manager role:

  • Oversee the office's administrative functions, ensuring efficient processes and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the secretarial and business support team.
  • Manage and coordinate internal communications.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment.
  • Manage contracts and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease.
  • Organise company events or conferences.
  • Monitor office expenditures and handle all office contracts (rent, service etc.)

The Successful Applicant

A successful Office Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant.
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
  • Experience in professional services industry.
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers).
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
