A fin-tech client of ours based in the heart of London is searching for an ML Ops Engineer to join them on interim basis ASAP as they look to implement new ML ops tools.

Our client is a fast growing fin-tech based in London who are looking to rapidly expand their data function and capabilities while they grow not only in the UK but also on a global scale.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities as an ML Ops engineer will include but will not be limited to:

  • Building and maintain machine learning infrastructure
  • Deploying machine learning models into production
  • Working with the Analytics team to optimise existing ML models
  • Collaborating with data scientists to implement new machine learning algorithms
  • Participating in the design and review of machine learning systems
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity in machine learning systems
  • Monitoring the performance of machine learning models in real-time
  • Troubleshooting and resolve issues with machine learning models and infrastructure

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • An understanding of CI/CD principles, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

As a desirable, experience with any of the following would be a bonus:

  • Terraform, AWS, Rackspace, Helmchart, Jenkins, Snowflake

For a successful ML Ops engineer there is the possibility to work in a hybrid format earning a competitive day rate with a leading fin-tech client of ours on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
