In Cwmbran they specialise solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets.Job DescriptionParticipate in design reviews throughout each phase of the new product introduction process making improvement suggestionsEvaluate new product designs using 3D CAD model and mock-ups and log issues.Coordinate design or assembly/manufacture reviews and give feedbackConduct make vs buy analysis on new product designs and look for optimisation opportunitiesCalculate production capacity requirements based on customer's demand and identify production tooling and space requirementsProduce APQP & PPAP documentationPrepare and lead PFMEA reviewsSupport the programme team in the delivery of milestones for key events such as PDR, CDR, Test Builds and PPAPCheck accuracy of BOM against build requirements and communicate any discrepancies to the design team.The Successful ApplicantA successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:A relevant qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
