Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.
  • Support the preparation of board reports and presentations.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
  • Assist with year-end audits and regulatory reporting.



The Successful Applicant

We're seeking a candidate who is:

  • Part-Qualified: Actively studying towards an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Experienced: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar finance or management accounting role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Analytical: Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel, with experience in financial modelling being a plus.
  • Organised: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicative: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive: A self-starter who thrives on solving problems and improving processes.
