The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing regional Management Accounts alongside a team of other Management Accountants. Key duties include managing a Bookkeeper, discussing Management Accounts results with regional Leaders and overseeing the Budget processes for your given areas.

About Our Client

We are delighted to be working with a growing UK based Charity who work to support youths across the country. With a presence across the UK and multiple accounts our client is looking for a strong Management Accountant who is able to produce detailed accounts whilst also possessing a strong ability to communicate and business partner with the core regions.

Job Description

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for your given regions
  • Reporting on variances, processing journals and assisting on month end reporting.
  • You will be involved in the development of the annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • You will business partner with the core areas.
  • You will ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Support the wider team with any additional tasks.

The Successful Applicant

  • Part Qualified Accountant- studying towards qualification
  • Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts- end to end.
  • Good knowledge of deferred income, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis and cash flow management.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers, liaising to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • A strong ability to business partner and provide detailed financial commentary to the accounts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on individual tasks
