Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheets and maintain accurate records of financial data.
  • Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Provide insightful financial reports and commentary to key stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of financial systems and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent educational background in finance or accounting.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within related sectors.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Preference to candidates with IFRS16 and lease accounting experience.
