Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal review.
  • Analyse variances and provide insightful commentary to support decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and oversee ledger reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise financial performance.
  • Support audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls to enhance efficiency.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification or working towards one.
  • Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an Accounting & Finance team.
