We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate studying towards ACCA or CIMA who is eager to develop their management accounting skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Description



  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on business performance.


  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.


  • Assist in cost analysis and control, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements in production and overheads.


  • Work closely with operations, production, and procurement teams to gather relevant financial and non-financial data.


  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful financial reports to senior management.


  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.


  • Assist in developing financial models to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.


  • Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting and internal controls.



The Successful Applicant



  • Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (actively studying towards qualification).


  • Previous experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.


  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar).


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a growing company.
