A growing and forward-thinking business based in Manchester City Centre, we are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will involve:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Producing detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Business partnering with operational teams to drive financial performance
  • Supporting month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assisting with internal reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Involvement in ad hoc financial projects and process improvements

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Part-qualification with ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • 1-3 years of experience in a finance in a management accounting role.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with finance software.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
