My client are looking for a Management Accountant with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes in a regulated environment.

About Our Client

My client is a global foreign exchange business who are growing at a rapid, exciting rate. They are seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant who is highly motivated to progress and take responsibility of key accounting and month-end tasks.

Job Description

Financial Reporting & Control



  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.


  • Manage inter-company reconciliations and attend month-end meetings to resolve queries.


  • Oversee prepayments, accruals, and maintain the fixed asset register.


  • Conduct payroll reconciliation and monitor company credit card transactions.


  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts and provide audit support.


  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.



Tax & Compliance



  • Support tax return preparation (Corporate Tax and GST) and ensure timely tax instalments.


  • Ensure compliance with regional tax regulations and keep procedures updated.


  • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate errors and risks.



Business Partnering & Strategy



  • Act as the financial expert for assigned regions, providing insights and guidance on financial regulations and processes.


  • Prepare reports for local teams and support decision-making with financial data analysis.


  • Collaborate with senior management to drive efficiency and strategic financial planning.

The Successful Applicant



  • Experience in a regulated financial services firm.


  • Strong knowledge of UK/Spanish financial regulations and compliance requirements.


  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and risk management.


  • Experience with Workday and Power BI (desirable but not essential).


  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
