We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our finance department. This role requires outstanding communication skills, strong academics, and a keen eye for financial details.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established property firm located in London. As a mid-sized organisation, they boast a remarkable portfolio of property developments (Commercial, Residential & Hospitality) and have a reputation for delivering high-quality services.

Job Description

· Ability to work by themselves and forward think.

· Implement new systems, controls and processes.

· Run the AP and AR function.

· Bank payment runs.

· Bank recs / accruals / prepayments / deferrals / intercompany

· Lead annual onsite audit

· Quarterly VAT reporting including partial exemption, reverse charge etc.

· Monthly management pack reporting including graphical and KPI analysis

· Cashflow analysis

· Budgeting and forecasting

· Stock and WIP

· Payroll is run by an off-site payroll provider, but the candidate needs to have a rounded understanding of how payroll works (PAYE, NIs, Pension rules, PSA, p11d) and provide the monthly hours etc. to the off-site provider.Not essential but advantageous:

· Advanced in excel

· Construction experience - CIS, contracts, stage payments, project reporting, project coding

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a relevant field
  • Part Qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
  • Sound business knowledge
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
