Job Description

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly assessment and forecast of organisation's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal financial controls.
  • Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage financial standard setting and forecast process.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Adhere to current laws and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • An accredited degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CIMA or ACCA).
  • Profound knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.).
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of financial software.
  • Understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Superior attention to detail.
