This is a medium-sized business based in Bicester. A leader in their industry, they pride themselves on their commitment to providing quality products and exceptional service to their customers. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

Management Accountant reponsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Responsible for accruals, prepayments and on costs
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashflow forecast preparation
  • Conduct variance analysis
  • Financial analysis to support decision making
  • Assist and cover VAT returns
  • Working closely with other departments to improve financial processes
  • Providing financial advice to management
  • Participating in financial projects as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant
  • Part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or actively working towards a full qualification (preferential)
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong communication skills
