We are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join our clients Accounting & Finance department in Wrexham, who will be instrumental in providing business services and managing Sage 200 systems. This is a unique opportunity to join a stable business, producing accounts for several profitable businesses overseeing a team of 2 assistants.

You will report to a dynamic Finance Director with years of industry experience, building relationships with key stakeholders.

Job Description

Duties of the Management Accountant include:

  • Manage and maintain Sage 200 systems effectively.
  • Provide key business services to clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Group Reconcilliations
  • Producing board reports
  • Managing Fixed Asset register
  • VAT returns
  • Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to achieve company goals, including management of a team of 2
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes.
  • Assist with internal audits and regulatory compliance & Year End
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Proficiency in Sage 200 systems.
  • A strong educational background in Accounting or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide insightful financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance team.
  • Management skills - Desirable
