Office 4 days per week, 1 day from homeUnder the supervision of the Controller, the Management Accountant is the accountable party for executing budgeting, ongoing forecasting and variance analysis and reporting. This will involve periodic interfacing with other heads of departments and understanding College key priorities and activities. The Management Accountant will support the Controller in all endowment administration activities, including reviewing of relevant accounting entries, working with external service providers including banks, fund managers and investment advisors. The Management Accountant will be assigned direct responsibilities for project accounting activities in College subsidiaries where development and capex projects take place.Under the supervision of the College Accountant, the Management Accountant will also be involved in the taxation affairs of the College, VAT, PAYE and Corporation tax as required.

This position will also be involved in financial process reviews, data analysis and ad hoc projects from time to time.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Business Partnering experience
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Ideally experience of Endowments
