Job Description

The Role - Management Accountant
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for a range of key financial activities, including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of management accounts with detailed commentary
  • Completion of all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Creation of weekly sales forecasts and flash reports
  • Posting of all month-end journals
  • Preparation of board packs for initial review
  • Management of all inter company reconciliations
  • Handling of VAT submissions
  • Addressing fleet-related queries

The Successful Applicant

The Requirements

  • Part Qualified and actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA qualification
  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in producing a full set of management accounts with analysis
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growing business environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills, including excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
