They have a strong track record of developing careers and hiring high calibre Accountants into their Finance team.Job DescriptionYour responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Responsible for the production of monthly management accountsEnsure all month end cost journals are calculated and processed accurately and on a timely basis for key account lines in the P&LEnsure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis, investigate and resolve any variances on a timely basisAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecastsDevelop strong working relationships with all areas of the businessAssist in year-end auditAdhere to reporting deadlinesAssist with departmental and wider business projectsThe Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA or CIMA preference) and have experience working as a Management Accountant or in a similar technical accounting role. This role would suit someone who is making a 1st time move from practice where you have been involved in the production of management accountsIdeally, my client are looking for someone from a retail background or a sector such as FMCG/ Manufacturing.
