Job Description

  • Prepare and manage financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Handle budgeting and forecasting to assist with strategic planning.
  • Oversee reconciliations and journal postings to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance, or relevant education.
  • Experience within the accounting and finance field, preferably in business services.
  • A strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial modelling tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
