Job Description

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee the maintenance team, ensuring they meet safety standards and production goals.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to increase machinery lifespan and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to improve workflows and processes.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance operations and efficiency.
  • Support capital projects by providing technical expertise and maintenance resources.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to support production and minimise downtime.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Planner should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in maintenance planning software and tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
