Job Description

  • Carry out routine maintenance on all production equipment.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase equipment efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues.
  • Ensure all machinery is compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide training to other staff members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in project work to install new equipment or upgrade existing machinery.
  • Document all maintenance work and report any major issues to management.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance work.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A relevant qualification t in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent technical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
