Job Description

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Working collaboratively with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
  • Assisting with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment
  • Continually improving maintenance procedures
  • Supporting the training and development of junior team members
  • Taking part in emergency call outs and shift work as required
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all production equipment

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer - Electrical should have:

  • A strong background in electrical maintenance
  • Familiarity with 3-phase motors, drives, inverters, sensors, pumps, valves, conveyors and packaging machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Sound understanding of marine products and systems
  • Willingness to participate in emergency call outs and shift work
