Job Description

  • Managing logistics operations for retail outlets in Fakenham and surrounding areas.
  • Using transport planning software for optimum route planning and efficient distribution.
  • Applying Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport laws and regulations.
  • Coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of retail goods.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of Class 2 vehicles.
  • Training and managing a team of logistics personnel.
  • Developing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Manager should have:

  • A degree in business, logistics or a related field.
  • Proficiency in transport planning software and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
  • A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  • Experience in transport, logistics or supply chain management in the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
