We are working with their Air team based in the North West of England, who design, develop and produce world-leading combat and fast jet trainer aircraft as they look to hire a Legal Counsel into their in-house function.Job DescriptionA successful Legal Counsel can expect to:Lead the drafting, negotiation, and completion of contractual arrangements with customers and partners, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the business.Ensure strict compliance with all legal requirements, encompassing health and safety, procurement law, product safety, compliance, export control, and ethical business conduct, to maintain the integrity of the Air Sector businessEngage early in dispute resolution processes, strategizing and implementing effective solutions to swiftly address challenges and uphold the business's reputation for excellence and integrity. Stay abreast of legal and business developments, providing valuable insights and training to support ongoing successYou will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice and solutions across multiple jurisdictions, partnering with international global customers and industry collaborators, and ensuring compliance with legal requirementsThe Successful ApplicantWe welcome applications from candidates from various backgrounds but would like to see around 2-5 years PQE, experience working within similar field, commercially minded and pragmatic candidates who are prepared to go to the office on a hybrid basis.
