You will be required to provide timely, high quality, practical and commercially focused legal advice, balancing legal risk with the commercial needs of the business and will be responsible for: Providing commercially focused legal advice on a broad range of projects ensuring compliance with applicable law.Reviewing, negotiating and/or drafting agreements and conducting contract negotiations with project counterparties primarily for construction, refurbishment and related services.Supporting on commercial and contractual matters for tenders, projects, variations and on-going contractual and operational matters.Assisting on the governance of transactions at local and group level.Working closely with colleagues throughout the group and with customers.Managing external legal resource as required.Assisting in developing and delivering training on legal matters for colleagues across the business.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will be a UK (or common law equivalent) qualified solicitor or barrister. Based on the team structure, work on offer and remuneration for this position they will be like to have between 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience.
